A Feb. 14 news brief on increasing SLO City’s in-lieu parking fees (“Developers would pay just 40 percent of cost to replace lost parking spots”) should have noted that the proposed Garden Street Terraces project has an agreement with the city to pay the entire cost of replacing the spots in a parking structure.

The Feb. 14 Shredder (“Take your time–it’s only murder”) questioned North County Humane Society funds invested with a hard-money lending firm. The funds in question were bequeathed to the society already invested.
