• The Shredder messed up. I know. We’re sad, too. But, The Shredder doesn’t mind fessing up to mistakes. In the Sept. 1 column, “If at first you don’t succeed … ,” The Shredder incorrectly identified SLO City Councilmember Dan Carpenter’s stance on the Rental Housing Inspection Program. Carpenter has voted against it every time it’s come up.
