• A Sierra Club lawyer was misidentified in the June 18 story “Deception or bumble.” It was Sierra Club attorney Babak Naficy who discovered the missing text from a county staff report.
• Regarding the article “Coincidence?” (July 2): Julie Blunden is the SunPower vice president who is quoted.
• A portion of a July 2 story on New Times’ awards was omitted. The final sentence read: “Managing Editor Patrick Howe, photographer Steve E. Miller and publisher and art director Alex Zuniga were awarded an honorable mention for editorial layout for the story “Secrets of Recycling.” Photographer Steve E. Miller won third place in the photography division for his work “Momento Mori,” a series of photo illustrations on the deaths of artists. Shredder won second place in the political column category for a series of columns on topics ranging from medical marijuana to gay marriage.” ∆
