I have two things to say about the raid (“What happened in Pozo?” July 8). First, shame on Pozo Saloon for letting this take place, and at a reggae concert, no less: Are they serious? They’d certainly better worry about the impact on future concerts, because I won’t go to another event there, neither will my family and friends, and I’m sure others feel the same way. Second, assigning upwards of 50 officers to the operation was ridiculous, especially considering the dire financial circumstances of our county. Did the officers expect to bust dealers with a pound or more there? Who carries that much to a concert? For Commander Rodney John to call this raid a success is a joke.
