CLOS SOLENE 2013 LA ROSE PASO ROBLES

CLOS SOLENE 2013 LA ROSE PASO ROBLES :

A recent stop at Paso Underground provided an opportunity to taste this excellent new release of rosé. A blend of syrah, grenache, and mourvedre, its elegant fruit flavors of raspberries, strawberries, and cranberries are nicely nuanced by mild citrus notes. Irresistible alone but it’s a perfect choice for bouillabaisse or shellfish. Winemaker Guillaume Fabre, born and raised in France, has built a rock solid reputation since he and his wife, Solene, moved to Paso in 2004. After working at the renowned L’Aventure for a decade, Fabre is now building his brand, which has earned critical acclaim. This rosé is limited so you’ll have to get to their tasting room, Paso Underground, to buy it soon, as it won’t last long. Priced $38 retail, get the details about Paso Underground at clossolene.com.
