This lovely wine offers a graceful array of nectarine, pear, and tangy apple aromas and flavors that are intertwined with zippy citrus notes. The delicious flavors linger long on the palate, and kept me coming back for another sip. Made from grapes grown in Monterey and Edna Valley, 75 percent was barrel fermented, 25 percent tank fermented. It’s a great choice for crab, fish, poultry, or vegetarian dishes. But this refreshing wine is so tasty you’ll love it on its own, too. It’s $18, an excellent quality/price ratio, and available at the tasting room in Edna Valley on Hwy. 227.
