You know that niggling sense of guilt that creeps up when your eyes are bigger than your tummy and more of the plate’s contents go into the trash instead of your mouth? Well, it may be justified.

GleanSLO will host a viewing of Wasted! The Story of Food Waste at the Palm Theatre on Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. Through the eyes of chef-heroes like Anthony Bourdain, Dan Barber, Massimo Bottura, and Danny Bowien, audiences will see how the world’s most influential chefs make the most of every kind of food, transforming what most people consider scraps and rejects into incredible dishes that feed more people and create a more sustainable food system.

Tickets will be sold at the door, and proceeds benefit GleanSLO. Visit the Wasted! The Story of Food Waste event page on Facebook for more information. Δ
