Cal Poly’s Students for Justice and Peace in the Middle East planned to hold a candlelight vigil for victims of the recent warfare in Israel and the Gaza Strip. The event is aimed at honoring the people who have died since Dec. 27, and not meant to be political. The group will be at Mission Plaza during the Jan. 22 Farmers Market in SLO from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
