The Cal Poly Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will host the ninth annual Elevator Pitch Competition on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Cal Poly Performing Arts Center. Cal Poly and Cuesta College students will have the opportunity to present their entrepreneurial ideas for a chance to win $1,000. Each participant will have 90 seconds. Registration for the event is free. This year’s guest speaker, AJ Forsythe, will share what he has learned since his winning pitch at the inaugural Elevator Pitch Competition led him to co-found iCracked, a cellphone repair company.
