New Times gave Lisa Schicker yet another opportunity to reveal her unrealistic take on reality in Los Osos (“Sewer project would dispossess many Los Osos homeowners,” Oct. 22). There is no turning back, so start moving forward, Lisa. Get this thing in the ground and for once and for all, put this horrific nightmare to bed. Her needless foot-dragging and far-too-wordy letters and reports to anyone who will read them are no longer of any use to anyone. The County Public Works Department knows what needs to be done and they’ve done it before … the right way. Further delays and roadblocks will guarantee ever-higher costs. Maybe she can afford that, but I sure can’t.
