BOGLE 2009 RIESLING CALIFORNIA

This light and refreshing white is lightly sweet with just enough sugar and acid to make it classic in style. It offers tasty notes of honeysuckle, apricot, and floral aromas and flavors that are nicely balanced by tangy citrus and Mandarin orange notes. I found it quite drinkable alone, but it’s best with food. Try it with any good stir-fry of seafood or poultry with mixed veggies, fish tacos with mango salsa, roast chicken, and turkey during the holiday season. For cheese plates choose semi-soft blue cheese, mild Cheddars, or fresh goats milk cheeses. It’s a very good value and found in most grocery stores for $10 retail.
