The event is Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Strokes for Stroke is a program of the American Heart and the American Stroke Association, and encourages stroke survivors to participate in stroke rehabilitation through art. This creative class, led by a local artist, helps those recovering from a stroke by stimulating brain function and improving hand-eye coordination. All levels of skill and mobility are invited to participate. Anyone interested in participating in the class should call 844-316-0276 for more information and to register.
