Do you long to be whisked away to a fabulous ball with fabulous people, food, and music? Wish no more! The annual San Luis Obispo Symphony Ball and Auction is almost here.

The ball, with this year’s theme of “a night among the stars,” will take place at the Christopher Cohan Performing Arts Center on April 23. The event features elegant dining, fabulous local wines, enticing auction items, and spirited dancing with the music of Burning James and the Funky Flames.

The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a champagne reception where guests can mingle and bid on silent auction items, followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and a live auction of unique items. The spring event is the primary fundraiser for the organization that brings symphonic and chamber music to the community and music education to San Luis Obispo County schools.

Tickets cost $150 per person and $1,200 for a table of eight. Visit slosymphony.org for more information.
