New Times‘ article about SLO County deciding not to switch to a new election model (“Get out to vote,” Sept. 28) made me laugh! I could hardly believe what I was reading. A local Republican leader opposes vote-by-mail because it might, “… disenfranchise … minorities … .” I don’t care what anyone else says, local Republicans have a great sense of humor.
