Memorial services for Chris Gibson, who drowned in Cayucos Creek July 26, will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, at Grace Church, 1350 Osos St., in San Luis Obispo. Gibson, a self-educated scholar and adventurer, was 51.
