Most media have failed to call the current political situation what it is— pure and simple racism. To continue to call the problem “The Big Lie” only serves to whitewash the real problem, which is not an allegedly stolen election, but racism. Because a certain cohort of Americans—the Republican base does not want to accept the “browning of America” and wants to keep America “white,” it calls the election stolen.

Contrary to those who describe the problem as loyalty to Trump, it is Trump who has pledged his loyalty to racists. Trump recognized this racist element, capitalized on it, and used it as a stepping stone to power. But the racists were here before Trump. The Republican base has not been taken over by Trump. Trump has been taken over by the racist Republican base who identify him as the one who can deliver their most fervent desire—to remain the dominant element in a soon-to-be minority white America, and the mainstream Republican Party is afraid of losing the base so it, too, has become racist.

Words matter. The media should call it what it is—racism—not “The Big Lie.”

  1. What crap! The big problem is democrat racist agendas. The dems seek to divide our country by any means necessary, race, religion or lack of religion, LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ?, God only knows what else! This will backfire, Americans will remain united and vote Republican. The democrat party is the party that brought you slavery, Jim Crow, Jeffry Epstein and child rape, welfare and nanny statism, voter fraud and razor wire fences around the capitols they illegitimately reside in to keep their constituents out. Justice will prevail though. Do your part in 2022 and beyond, vote for freedom. Vote Republican.

  2. When someone has just discovered a new word, they tend to over use it, regardless of context and how inappropriate it may be to the situation discussed. For this writer, that word is “racism”.

  3. Hey Keith, theres no need to be so rude. You might ask yourself what compels you to want to insult others. Does it make you feel better? Do you enjoy attacking others? Builds up your ego? Makes you feel better after a tough day? Dont have anything more worthwhile to share? The Trump attitude really isnt making our community better. Using Trump as a role model, and insulting people, has gotten old.

  4. Yes, let’s always remain polite regardless of how far off base are the words of a writer or speaker.
No need to intentionally insult others [I forgive those whose personalities tend to the insulting without intent – I do know a few individuals who insult without intention at all].

Meanwhile, I repeat my mantra “Vote Libertarian” for our Liberty and Freedom restored. If you cannot accept that gov’t is the problem and Liberty the solution, vote another political party of your choice. But, most of all, abandon the DemReps who put us where we are today!

  5. Racism racism racism. Racism is racist because if it weren’t racist, then it may just be just covert racism. Racism is everywhere. In in a house, near a mouse, in your hair, over there, up a hill, inside pills, in your beer, in your fear. Racism must be everywhere Racism, racism, racism. Be scared…Dr.Seuss.

  6. How come you didn’t delete some of the incendiery and repeated-more-than-once comments above?
