This complex wine is 66 percent Petit Verdot, 22 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, and 12 percent Syrah. Deeply colored, it fills your mouth with briary blackberry, plum, and blueberry flavors. The bold fruit is nicely weaved with a thread of earth, herbs, spice, and toasty oak. This powerful wine is best paired with braised beef or lamb, or game like buffalo and venison.
