A party last Saturday night at a Grand Ave. residence in SLO ended in violence, when a disgruntled guest allegedly began assaulting people with a bat. According to police reports, 20-year-old Christopher Rose of SLO was arguing with another guest, when he produced a small, metal bat from his pants and started swinging it through the crowded party. Four guests were injured during the assault, including 20-year-old Bradley Kreowski and 21-year-old Nicholas Goebel, both of SLO. All of the victims refused medical attention.

Shortly after the attack, guests notified the police, who arrived in time to find Rose running away from the house. They eventually caught up with Rose, who was positively identified as the batterer, though his bat was never recovered. Rose is being charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
