img3212This delicious, non-vintage bubbly was quite a treat when I tasted it at Laetitia’s annual Effervescent Evening. The five-course dinner by chef Maegen Loring was equally fabulous, from the passed appetizers to the grand finale of this sparkler with coconut cake and root beer reduction. I raved about it and realized afterward that this slightly sweet bubbly is perfect for Sunday brunch. A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc, it offers subtle lemon and tropical flavors and toasty notes in a rich, creamy mousse. It’s a very good buy for $22 retail, only available at the Arroyo Grande tasting room.
