Gone to pot

I’ve been doing some home improvements lately nothing fancy, just a little paint here, a new bookshelf there. I’m not what anyone would call a handyman by any means (for more reasons than one), but I get the job done. Barely. As long you don’t set anything heavier than a couple sheets of paper on…

Correction

“Judge delivers return-of-pot order, Grover bogarts,” (Jan. 4) briefly mentions a similar return-of-medical-marijuana order issued on behalf of patient Ben Breschini on Aug. 23 by Judge Dodie Harman. The brief should have said that Harman’s order came directly after charges against Breschini “dematerialized.”

One bad surge deserves no others

One classic example of insanity is to endlessly repeat the same behavior expecting a different result. Well, President George Bush doesn’t appear to be insane, but he does appear to be extremely foolish. Just recently we completed Operation Forward Together, which was a surge of U.S. troops in Baghdad that was to be a joint…
