The SLO Botanical Garden is grateful to a generous community, including New Times.
The May 21st San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden “Springtime Garden Tour” was a big success by all counts, attracting nearly 600 visitors and resulting in bighearted proceeds going toward the completion of a new education building.
Credit for this remarkable success goes all across this generous community, including the homeowners who opened their private gardens, the talented local artists who contributed their paintings, the over 70 volunteers who staged the event, and, importantly, the local news media whose advance coverage resulted in record-setting attendance.
A resounding thanks to each of you. What a wonderful community this is.
