Biden won. The election is over. Despite the concerted efforts of Trump and his enablers to convince you that there was widespread election fraud by the Democrats, there is no credible evidence to support those charges. Trump’s Homeland Security appointee, who oversees election security, stated, “There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.” The National Association of State Election Directors and the National Association of Secretaries of State issued this joint statement: “We can assure you we have the utmost confidence in the security and integrity of our election, and you should too.” All of Trump’s lawsuits against state election officials have been dismissed or soon will be. His vilification of honest and dedicated election officials and pollworkers is fraudulent and mean. Biden won. You’ve been duped. Please consider Abraham Lincoln’s famous quote. “You can fool all the people some of the time. And some of the people all the time. But you can’t fool all the people all the time.”

Good morning Charles,
While you’re at it you might as well dispel some other falsehoods that our trump supporters seem to want to cling to. To start with, covid is a real pandemic. Real patriots would do their part to fight it for the good of our country. Barack Obama was born a US citizen and is not a Muslim terrorist. Global Warming is causing the increase in droughts, floods , wild fires, the acidification of our oceans, the melting of our polar ice caps, and the increase in size and number of hurricanes and cyclones. Antifa is not a organization. It has no leadership, but rather is people who want to fight against fascism. Remember our greatest generation fought a world war against a narcissistic megalomaniac facist, Adolph Hitler. Money in politics corrupts policy, process, as well as politicians. It not free speech, but is the antithesis of democracy. Mainstream media is mainstream. If you think that it is fake you’ve need to re-evaluate your information sources…..Mr Trump lost the election. Hopefully we can go forward with a renewed sense of the importance of honesty.
Far scarier than Donald Trumps ridiculously over-stoked fan base, are the strong supporters who consider and call themselves Christian.
As a believer in Christs unmistakable miracles, hearing Trumps people chant Jesus Is My Savior, Trump Is My President actually pissed me off.
The Biblical Jesus was unquestionably the opposite of the presidents character; he was all about compassion, pacifism and absolute charity. He clearly would not tolerate such superfluous wealth as the hoarding of tens of billions of dollars while so many others went hungry and homeless.
While many true Christians have rejected Trumps presidency, regardless of his tempting conservative politics (e.g. his Pro-life professions), this very vocal and politically active Christian element celebrates Trump.
(I know Id dread the possibly of being looked upon by Trumps big money corporate drivers as a useful idiot, especially if I was a supporter who’s struggling to make financial ends meet.)
Could they be that angered by Democratic Party social liberalism that they’d vocally praise someone so contrary to Jesus’s teachings?
Their apparent blindness to Trump being contrary to Christs teachings makes it seem to me theyve sacrificed Jesuss fundamentals on the altar of unyielding hard-conservative politics.
(It all brings Jonestown and the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project eerily to mind.)
Perhaps worst of all, they make very bad examples of the faith, especially to young impressionable observers.
Here is my prediction: Trump’s voters will be far more accepting of his loss than Democrats were in 2016. As you may recall, the day after the election saw the emergence of “The Resistance” and “not my president”, talk of impeachment even though it was still months before he would even take office, efforts to subvert the Electoral College, and floating bizarre schemes in which Trump would be forced out and Pelosi somehow made president. Being lectured on the need to be accepting and a “good sport” is amusing coming from Democrats.
Satchmo, remember that Clinton’s popular vote margin in 2106 was nearly 2.9 *MILLION* votes more than Trump’s. He LOST the popular vote by a significant margin. And when you add the other non-Trump POTUS votes for 3rd party candidates, that came to another 6 million. This meant that Trump was DOWN by 9 million votes. He then proceeded to cater to his white nationalist, fundamentalist, misogynist, and homo – and Islamo-phobic base, i.e. some 35% of the electorate. I was not going to be a “good sport” in the face of the worst presidency in American history.
Unfortunate, Trump is both a narcissist and psychopath who has no boundaries and runs his administration through Twitter. It is my opinion, that Trump will blame his failures on those who left him to support another candidate–much like Hitler in his last days blamed the Germans. Trump’s short stay in the White House is his own fault. This election was about getting a vicious petty autocrat out of office.
