Re: the article regarding multimillionaire Lee Brazil (“Landlord in court for ‘dangerous’ rentals,” April 14-21):

Known as the “slumlord” of San Luis Obispo County (and he knows it), it made my year to see Lee Brazil’s name plastered all over the New Times. It has become unfortunately obvious how he makes his millions, by letting these poor people pay high-dollar rent to live in his apartments, which I would not even let my dog live in. I firmly believe in “what goes around, comes around,” and his time has come to pay up for treating good, honest, hardworking people/tenants like crap. I can bet some of his other properties are in similar if not worse condition. I hope this opens a door for other residents of his to speak up and take a stand!
