Can the Democratic-Socialists, old-fashioned Socialists, Progressive Democrats, Progressives, DNC, and Communists please provide me with their definition of “income inequality”? If someone has the U.S. government’s definition of “income inequality,” I would like to see that too.
Oh, you mean these words are just “talking points”?
The utopia of having “income equality” for the roughly 8 billion people on this planet is totally unattainable and rightfully so! When individual drive, desire to succeed, and creativity is not rewarded but instead complacency is, civilization will fail.

Nice hack job linking Communists in with Democrats, etc. I think your political opinions are clear.
The debate about income inequality is NOT about making everyone equal, but about removing laws that automatically benefit one group or hinder another. A perfect example in the news recently is Amazons’ profit of about 11 billion dollars, and paying ZERO income tax. Or the recent 1.5 Trillion $$ tax cut for mostly corporations, who spent 90%+ of that on stock buybacks and management bonuses. On the laws-that-hinder side, think GOP gerrymandering of or outright removal of voters in liberal areas. Or minimum wage laws that haven’t changed in years. Or crappy schools in poverty areas that will never educate anyone.
These are but a few examples of how one group keeps another group down and out. America is supposed to be the land of opportunity, but these sorts of power structures give a huge advantage to one group, and similar disadvantage to other groups. And it’s short sighted, as it requires so much effort and anger to oppress someone, and doesn’t improve the country. A better idea is that “we all do better, when we all do better”, the idea that by raising up the lives of lots of folks, we make a bigger economy that benefits the average person as well as the rich. And as a side benefit, you can actually feel good about your efforts in the world, making it a better place for everyone’s children.
Try it, you might like it.
