I’m astounded by the reaction from the left to President Donald Trump’s proposal to protect the Dreamers while also giving them a path to U.S. citizenship.
Comments to the effect that our president is a white supremacist or that his plan is to “make America white again” defy reason when contrasted against what is actually being proposed. Does anyone think that Dreamers care one iota what the left is saying about our president’s generous offer? I think not. All they want is to be deemed legal and have the opportunity to achieve the American dream.
So please take “yes” for an answer and let’s make the practical and humane decision to bring legal status to Dreamers and finally be done with this divisive issue.

If Democrats actually want a path to citizenship for Dreamers and over a million more then all they have to do is allow the current system a little repair.
Let Trump build his “wall”. It is only money and considering all the money the Fed wastes it is chicken feed.
End “chain migration” in favor of a merit based system, and make the lottery help, not hurt America.
This is all it would take to finally fix the current mess and since we have an “anti-politician” as president it can be done.
It is a unique opportunity, that if the Democrats resist is proof that they like immigration as a divisive issue, using immigrants as political pawns , more than they want to legalize many immigrants here illegally as possible.
Actions speak ;louder than words, there is a compromise solution at hand if only the Democrats will allow it to happen.

illegal narcotics come over the border at border crossings by way of bribery and deception. A wall will make no difference there. As for immigrants, if theyre willing to risk their lives walking across a deadly desert, they are also willing to use a rope to climb over the wall Or a simple shovel to dig under it. Dont be a moron. Dont be a trump sucker. Dont waste taxpayer money on idiocy and foolish efforts to make good with the worst president in US history.
