I think there is an opportunity for an enterprising person that is not being filled as yet: home delivery of groceries. It would be similar to the Menu Club, which will deliver food from many of the 5-Cities restaurants. The Menu Club takes the orders online or via phone and the credit card payment for both the food and their $6 delivery charge.

However, I think an enterprising person could get local grocery stores to take the orders and credit card payment for the groceries and, say, $15 delivery charge. The delivery service would be paid $12 for the delivery.

This service would not need to provide as speedy a delivery as the Menu Club does. But for an additional charge, it might provide delivery within a one- or two-hour window.

I would consider doing this myself, but I am 88 and not in good physical health. But I hope someone else will, because I would be a customer.
