It is nice that you posted pictures of each stage of the process of making salami (“Life, death, and salami,” Nov. 22). However, you omitted a photo of a very important step: how a pig—seen on the front page as an animal being pet by a sweet owner with a smile on his face—gets slaughtered.
In the spirit of accuracy, you need to include such a photo. Then, we will know where our meat comes from.
