SLO County Supervisor candidate Dan Carpenter has taken a page from the Donald Trump campaign book. He’s launched a nasty, personal, negative campaign against Adam Hill and it’s about as ugly as Trump’s hairdo.
After stating he was going “to get a refreshing message out to the electorate,” Mr. Carpenter has now turned to some of the worst mudslinging I’ve seen.
Adam Hill has a great record of balancing concern for the environment with real job creation. And he’s done it for years despite all the trumped-up personal attacks he has endured.
I guess Mr. Carpenter is desperate to get attention and distract from his own record as a flip-flopper on the SLO City Council. And now he’s flip-flopping on his own campaign promises.
Sorry Dan, if I want a stream of insulting political BS, I’ll turn on cable news.
