A blend of organically grown Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah, this tasty wine is bargain priced. While I didn’t enjoy it when I tried it with a tomato-based pasta dish, it would be quite tasty with a roast beef sandwich, cheeseburger, or sausage pizza. Easy drinking on its own, it’s a good choice as an aperitif for a large party at this price. Available at Trader Joe’s, this French red is only $6.99 retail; look for the label with the lady in the big hat with a basket of grapes.
