Here comes the summer

Summertime, and the living's easy. At least it is this weekend at the Pozo Summertime Boogie. The outdoor music extravaganza features Tim Ball and Kenny Sultan, Jill Knight (pictured), and The New 5-Cent Band. Along with all the cool music, there will be a barbecue and plenty of refreshments. So grab your low-back beach chairs and blankets and head for Santa Margarita. Just be sure to leave your pets and coolers at home.

Remember the good ol' days

Take a break from the 21st century this Sunday at the sixth annual Cambria Heritage Celebration. The event pays homage to days of yore with old-fashioned games such as sack races, three-legged races, and more. There will also be live music by Center Street Mercantile and Blacksmith String Band, as well as storytelling, food, and activities for kids. All proceeds benefit the Cambria Historical Society. Get along little doggies.

Pickin' up good vibrations

Get down with your funky reggae self when Resination takes the stage this Friday at Concerts in the Plaza. The band, known for its classic reggae style and amazing stage performances, will surely make you want get up and feel the love. Food, beer, wine, and other refreshments will be available to purchase, but please remember to leave your doobies at home.
