Here's a
grape idea
Bar hopping is for college kids. Winery hopping is for grownups.
At least it is this weekend at
the Paso Robles Wine Festival. The three-day event includes
a golf tournament, winemaker dinners, wine tastings, and lots
more grape
activities. The festival culminates with a
community celebration at Downtown City Park on Saturday and
includes food, live bands, and barrels and barrels of vino.
But remember - designate a driver.
. 22nd annual Paso Robles Wine Festival is May 14-16 at
wineries throughout North County, with a festival May 15 in
Downtown City Park, Paso Robles. Info: www.pasowine.com or
239-8463, Ext. 471.

Sax,
drums, and rock 'n' roll

Cuesta College Jazz Composers Workshop and the Little Big
Band. The show includes original arrangements and compositions
by students along with well-known jazz standards. One word:
swanky.

p.m. May 13 at the Cuesta College Conference Center, SLO campus.
Tickets are $5, $3 for students, seniors, and kids under 12.
