Why does New Times hate Christians?

I believe Russell Hodin expresses anti-Christian bigotry in his cartoon headed with “Own a piece of Heaven! in the
Dec. 23-30 issue of New Times. I am
deeply offended and have asked my wife not to pick up your paper again. She agrees. She is too offended, as is my
daughter and son.

When my daughter asked, “Why do they do this? My wife answered,
“Because they hate us. I agree, thus I doubt that either Russell Hodin or the New Times cares how I and my family and others like us feel.

This isn’t the only example I’ve seen of anti-Christian bias in the New Times, but I believe this is the worst. I thought you’d eventually print something that went too far, and now you have. There is no doubt in my mind that you have moved from bias into bigotry. It would seem that, at your paper, it is wrong to be intolerant against anyone, with one exception: It is always “open season to ridicule evangelical Christians.

About the lowest thing you can do to a religious person is to ridicule their religion. You bend over backward to avoid offending almost every religious group, but members of my faith are apparently not among them. In my opinion, you are profoundly hypocritical.
