Pizza Punks: Palo Mesa Pizza won big at the World Pizza Competition last month! Michael Stevens, chef and co-owner, earned the third-place award in the Best Traditional Pizza in the Southwest Region category. Congrats! Try the pie for yourself at their SLO and AG locations (palomesapizza.com) … Paso Robles based Leo Leo Gelato is working with SLO Brew to create some super tasty craft beer desserts you can eat with a spoon! Doesn’t that sound like heaven on earth? Stay tuned for more info as the new SLO Brew plans to open this spring … and speaking of heaven, Stepladder Creamery in Cambria and SLO/Morro Bay beer purveyors Libertine Brewing Co. have collaborated on a goat milk cheese aged with sour beer. It’s currently aging right now, and not quickly enough, if you ask me. I know—epic eats!
