Let’s be honest. You’ve experienced the heartache that comes from realizing it’s too late to hit up your favorite places to eat, whether you’re hanging out at home with friends or just getting back from the bars. When those deep hunger pangs strike in the wee hours of the night, there’s almost nothing you wouldn’t do to satisfy them. Problem solved! Listed below are several of San Luis Obispo’s finest food establishments open past normal hours of operation.

Domino’s Pizza

Tip: Known for fast delivery; save yourself the trouble and order over the phone at 544-3636.

Taco Bell
397 Santa Rosa St.
Mon. to Thurs.: 9 a.m. to 3 a.m.; Fri. to Sat.: 9 a.m. to 4 a.m.; Sun.: 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Tip: Order a crunch wrap. I swear, it tastes better after midnight.

Jack in the Box
390 Santa Rosa St.

Tip: Be prepared for the crowds. It gets substantially busier after the bars close.

El Nabor
596 California Blvd.
Mon. to Wed.: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Thurs. to Sat.: 9 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Tip: The portion sizes are relatively large, so sharing with a friend is a good idea.

Pita Pit
858 Foothill Blvd.
Sun. to Wed.: 10:30 a.m. to midnight; Thurs to Sat.: 10:30 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Tip: A tool on their website allows you to build your own pita and lists the nutritional information.

Old San Luis BBQ Co.

Sun. to Wed.: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Thurs.: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Fri. to Sat.: 11 to 2 a.m.
Tip: This place is a bit pricier than the rest, but the tri-tip sandwiches are delicious!
