What are you looking for in your forever home?

cat, Woods Humane Society

“Hello Darling, my name is Fluff and I am a 5-year-old spayed brown tabby who has called Woods home since October 2012. I’m quite a friendly outgoing lady who likes being talked to and responds in kind (I am very talkative). I can be very affectionate and loving but definitely on my own terms thank you very much! I’m a fluffy beauty seeking a new Mom or Dad who will admire glamorous good looks and grace me with as much love as I want—when I deem you worthy, of course. A diva? Perhaps, but I am definitely worth it!”

“Yo, I’m Rocky! I’m a very outgoing, confident 3-year-old cat who is afraid of nothing. I’m a big handsome chap who is full of personality, and I’m sure to fill your home with lots of love and laughter. Got mice? I can take care of that, too! Got doggies? Sadly, not a fan. But that small exception aside, I am one wonderful cat with a lot to give that special someone who opens their home and heart to this Italian Stallion. I’m definitely a ‘Man’s Cat’ and tend to strut around the cattery like a BOSS.”

dog, Woods Humane Society

“Hey, my name is Gavin, a 3-year-old dachshund mix! I am a very proud and confident guy unaware of my small stature. I can be hand shy with people I have never met but luckily the trainer here has taken me on as her project. I have been making leaps and bounds with not only my behavior, but I have also learned to keep my kennel clean and interact well with most other dogs. I even get along with cats. I will make someone a wonderful companion. I would do best in a home with someone who has previous experience owning dogs and is willing to continue my training so I progress even further. I cannot help it that I have a Napoleon complex! But I am a phenomenal guy once you get to know me.”

dog, Woods Humane Society

“Hey! My name is Sweetie. I am a 5-year-old PBT mix and the most affectionate and gentle large dog you will ever come across. I have a wonderful, mellow attitude about life, and I could not be happier than when I am able to spend time with people. I am very respectful and I listen well. My tail is always wagging, and I love to play fetch with tennis balls. I was originally surrendered to Woods Humane Society by my owner who was no longer able to care for me. I am house trained and love any age of children. I get along with most dogs—I am very playful and excited about new dog friends. I would make a perfect all-around family dog and accompany you on daily walks without any issues. I am as sweet as my name and looking forward to meeting you!”
