I just read your piece on attending the inauguration (“He gets us,” Jan. 31) and had to say thank you. I wanted to go and was almost booked but decided to stay home and watch on the tube instead, and wish now I had followed through and risked the chance of blizzard, the cost, and whatever other reasons made me stay home.
I don’t always pick up New Times and rarely have a moment to read all the way through, so I’m especially glad to have read Susan Pyburn’s commentary and shared her excitement.
Many thanks for the vicarious thrill.
