Two arrested in ICE bust 

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents made two arrests after serving a search warrant for the sale and manufacturing of fraudulent documents.

According a San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department press release, ICE agents served two warrants in San Miguel and Paso Robles resulting in the arrests of 27-year-old Olivia Hernandez Ortiz and 33-year-old Jose Lopez Villalobos, both illegal immigrants.

ICE agents and sheriff’s deputies served the search warrants related to an investigation on fraudulent documents for illegal immigrants that were being manufactured and sold in SLO County. The search uncovered computer equipment, identification card blanks, magnetic strips, and completed fraudulent cards, according to the news release. The search also turned up 3 grams of cocaine and a handgun with the serial number removed.

Ortiz and Villalobos were arrested for manufacturing fraudulent documents and possession for sale of narcotics. Officials are continuing the investigation to identify other suspects connected with the manufacturing operation.
