I am dismayed at the negative, hostile letters sent to you regarding the wonderful new restaurant Shawn’s on Main in Morro Bay. My husband and I are fans of this restaurant and its innovative, highly trained, talented chef, Shawn Washburn. His ability to prepare and serve some of the very best food on the Central Coast is remarkable and reflects his highly trained background. It’s true you can’t always please everyone and there are always two sides to each story, even though Shawn’s side is unknown.
I urge people on the Central Coast to try this new restaurant and find out for yourself just what this very talented chef has to offer. In this time of cookie-cutter-type restaurant chains, the Central Coast and Morro Bay are very fortunate to have this young, bright chef willing to open and operate this gourmet restaurant. Try Shawn’s on Main and I think you will agree with many hundreds of others that we are fortunate to have this delightful new restaurant in Morro Bay.
