Easter may be over, but discounts on post-holiday Peeps have only just begun.

Originating in the ’50s, Peeps are an unwavering American icon that you either love or hate.

No matter your view on the Peep, there are countless fun and innovative ways to eat these pastel confections.

Whether you prefer your Peeps nice and gooey or hard as rock, this recipe is guaranteed to take your love for marshmallow candies to the next level.

Peepsicle Treat

  • Marshmallow Peeps of your choice
  • Rice Krispies treats
  • Melting chocolate
  • Sprinkles or other decorations
  • Popsicle sticks

Cut one Peep in half.

Prepare your melting chocolate according to package directions.

Using a spoon and butter knife, coat the rice treat with your melted chocolate.

Once your Rice Krispies treat is coated with chocolate, apply half of the Peep to one side of the treat and the other half on the other side.

Decorate the exposed chocolate with sprinkles, coconut or other decorations.

Add some personality to your Peep with a pair of eyes and a nose.

Slide a popsicle stick into the bottom of your treat and you’re done!
