The dogs are taking over

Los Osos

Regarding “Noisy animals are a problem” (Sept. 13) by Andrew Hayter of Los Osos: Mr. Hayter must live in my neighborhood. Don’t stop and smell the roses, or the neighbor will send out the barking dogs until you go away. In fact, don’t even walk in front of their home, or I will hear the barking all day as I hear this other dog bark all night.

The dogs are in the food store, and even in the banks. A woman and her dog were sitting and I was filling out my withdrawal slip, when the dog jumped up and growled at me while coming up to me. Oh shit, I’m going to get bit. The woman got up to get her dog and told me her dog sensed that I don’t like him.

I did not say a word to this dog or this woman until she got up and got hold of her dog. I told her, “I don’t love your dog.”

Adopt a dog. Fines have doubled, and the county needs revenue or to fire everyone in the office of animal control for not doing their job.
