Thank you so much for printing a photo of our “goodwill ambassador,� Mahoney (Hot Dates, Dec 2-9), to highlight Animal Shelter Adoption Partners’ monthly adopt-a-pet at Farm Supply in San Luis Obispo.
The article brought many of your readers to the adopt-a-pet, and resulted in finding homes for four homeless animals who were long-term residents of the county pound. Mahoney was one of them!
I am hoping that you will continue to support our efforts by featuring this on an ongoing basis. Anything that can bring attention to these fine animals is so deeply appreciated.
Our next adopt-a-pet at Farm Supply is on Jan 8. We will have cats and dogs available for adoption. Subsequent events will be on the first Saturday of every month.
