In response to the letter from J.P. Mills re: "Animals before People?" (April 21-28):
Of course we've all heard this over and over ... why do we spend/waste our time volunteering to help animals when there are so many needy people out there? Wonder if this J.P. Mills volunteers his/her time to help those homeless people ... I'll bet not.
