Re: “Is homelessness a crime?

60 years old from SLO born 1958 at The Mountain View Hospital on Marsh St. I am one of "these people" and I ask you not to refer to any living human being as "these people" I am a naturally born tweeker so I resent your placing me in this as a criminal. I came back to SLO County and I have never been a criminal. I'm a man who likes music. I like it played loud. I like how the sound makes me feel. Sometimes sad but mostly happy. I am addicted to harmony, songs, life, and all the possibilities. I am also physically disabled from an accident at work in 2005. One
so far, complete knee replacement awaiting a possible 2nd knee replacement for the right knee. I receive less than $1500 a month in social security disability income. I cannot afford the extremely high
cost of rent, along with transportation, food, clothing, entertainment so on so forth in this entire county. I worked all my life to date and now I am homeless. The police in the 5 cities seem to attract to me. Then tell me at each event I have an excuse for everything. Since I grew up in a huge city... I'm not use to the same officer stopping and placing me as some kind of criminal. But that's what their doing. Well I won't get started on the power passion that led to some of these officer's lives.
