Statistics aren't on 'global warming' scientists' side

I read with dismay the article about El Niño and the worn-out claims of manmade global warming, which simply is not true (“Rain on the brain,” July 31). When will the journalists do their job and properly research this? I know David Hovde and respect him a great deal. He is one of the finest in his field I’ve known and has a keen sense for forecasting, but I do not agree about claims of the mentioned meteorological groups.

The statistics are on my side. My background in climatology and meteorology, and especially research, has shown reliable data and chronological statistics, which bring a more balanced perspective instead of junk science by ignorant people who hold a faulty “consensus.” Dig a little deeper; you find it is full of holes and deceit. Anyone remember the emails? The fact is our pattern is cyclic and has been since reliable data has been recorded. There are several laws of physics that would have to be violated to cause such warming, and it has not happened and can’t happen no matter how much the so-called scientists spin and lie about it.
