NEW TIMES: It has been pretty hot! Has it been really busy in Bali’s?

STACY FIELD: Yes, yes it has been.

 

NEW TIMES: What’s the most popular flavor right now?

FIELD: A lot of people are really into the coconut this week.

 

NEW TIMES: What is it like working at Bali’s during the summer?

FIELD: The downtown store is a lot of fun during the summer. Everyone is really happy. It’s fun to talk to the tourists, because they’re all so fascinated by the store. It’s funny to see their reactions.

 

NEW TIMES: What is so fascinating about frozen yogurt?

FIELD: They are fascinated by all the toppings and that you get to make it yourself ... especially if they’re from out of the country. All the Europeans love it.

 

NEW TIMES: What is your No. 1 favorite flavor/topping combo?

FIELD: I love the York Peppermint Patty yogurt with chocolate fudge.

 

NEW TIMES: How often do you eat Bali’s?

FIELD: Maybe every other week, every few weeks.

 

NEW TIMES: Is going to other ice cream or frozen yogurt stores considered traitorous?

FIELD: I mostly just eat Bali’s frozen yogurt. If I don’t want frozen yogurt and I want ice cream or something like that, I’ll go to Cold Stone, but I like it here!
