Re: “Caldwell announces jump from pundit to politician

Hopefully we'll get perennial candidate Justin Fareed's hat thrown into the ring and won't have to suffer Caldwell's paranoid mental ejaculations after the primary. Unless you happen to listen to his "radio show" (air quotes by author)

Re: “Under siege

If the park is such a boon to local communities, then why is it that one of the most depressed local economies in the county is literally the gateway to the park? Oceano, stop letting everyone pi55 on you. Oceano could be the gateway to a pristine dune ecosystem, attracting visitors from around the world, instead of just yahoos from Bumfuckersfield.

Re: “Under siege

Thanks, Al, for comparing the ODSVRA park to a Superfund site. You certainly nailed that one.

Re: “SLO County Supervisor Lynn Compton is part of a lawsuit for failing to pay $5.3 million in debt

Compton ran as a "small business owner" but it looks like we're all getting a lesson on scale, and a few other things.

Re: “An intellectual chasm

Thank you for yet another rambling, disjointed, yet mildly amusing lecture by Al "Hair on Fire" Fonzi.

Re: “Peschong's firm netted $643,000 to defeat Measure G

Peschong's firm also coordinated the No on Measure J, the half-cent sales tax which would fund local road projects. He was running for his seat on the board during the same election cycle, so while clearly not a violation of election law, his subsequent votes on the board, and potentially as a sitting member of SLOCOG, most definitely would be influenced by the defeat of J. He is nothing if not politically savvy.
