SLO police have a busy middle of the month

San Luis Obispo police officers arrested four males and two females after serving search warrants at two locations on Lima Street and Los Osos Valley Road in the early morning hours of Jan. 15.

According to a press release, most of the suspects were taken into custody for drug-related offences, but police reported finding Sean Cullen, 32, and Angel Medina, 22, with stolen property, including a handgun and jewelry. On the 1600 block of Lima Street, several motorcycles were located in various stages of disassembly with the VIN numbers removed. They’re believed to be stolen.

Another suspected thief was arrested in an unrelated incident Jan. 13, after he refused to leave a Chevron gas station on Marsh Street, electing instead to take an evening nap. An employee called the police, who reported finding Carmelo Colaccino in possession of property stolen from Padre Grocery and Liquor earlier that morning. He also reportedly had a hypodermic needle loaded with what police believe to be methamphetamine.

Video surveillance from the liquor store reportedly shows Colaccino and two unidentified suspects forcing open the exterior door and stealing cigarettes, lottery tickets, and a Google tablet. According to the press release, Colaccino also admitted to burglaries at Ben Franklin’s Sandwiches and in Los Osos.
