Brewtastic: It's time for Central Coast Craft Beer Week, hosted March 21 through 29 across a colorful swath of bars and breweries throughout the region. Events include Parabola's 2015 release by Firestone Walker Brewing Co. on March 21, a local beer tap takeover and brunch at Mother's Tavern in SLO on March 22, and a beer dinner at Libertine Pub in Morro Bay on March 24, among many others (for a long, totally radical list of events, visit ccbrewers.org/events) ... A zinfully good time: On March 20, get ready for a Vintage Paso Winemaker Dinner at J Lohr Vineyards in Paso Robles featuring a four-course meal catered by Thomas Hill Organics with vintage zinfandel pairings (reserve your spot by calling 239-8900 or email kim@jlohr.com; $95 per person) ... Laetitia Winery in Arroyo Grande will host a Sparkling Winemaker Dinner at the Laetitia State House this March 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. Hosted by sparkling winemaker Dave Hickey, you'll slurp down effervescent offerings alongside Chef Michael Wood's delish culinary creations (reserve your spot by calling 474-7641; $140 per person).

Slurp, slurp, hooray! March is National Noodle Month, people. To celebrate, I say stop by Raku Ramen and order up a big, steaming, gorgeous bowl of spicy tonkotsu pork ramen (with or without butter topping depending on your naughtiness; 1308 Monterey St.) ... Lincoln Market in SLO is killing it with their Almost Famous Breakfast Burrito, topped with the most addictive chipotle sauce on earth. Start your day off with one of those bad boys and you won't need to even think about lunch (496 Broad St., SLO) ... Local beer and wine geek Christopher Weir has penned an entertaining new memoir cutting an adventurous path through the history of SLO and Santa Barbara Winemaking!
