Seresin 2007 Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand

kathy_s_pick_Seresin07-10-93.jpg

One sniff of this wonderful white and I was hooked. Elegant, beautifully balanced, and layered with flavors, this is my idea of classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. It offers tangy notes of fresh grapefruit, kiwi, and lime, yet it’s restrained and nicely balanced. It’s delicious on its own, but meant for the table where it pairs harmoniously with shellfish, fresh goat cheese, halibut, chicken, and chopped vegetable salads with Dijon vinaigrette. I’ve paid more for California versions that weren’t nearly this good. It’s only $14.99 at Costco.
