Re: “Addiction treatment advocates worry about the impact of SLO County strike on Drug and Alcohol Services

When the service we are providing, is similar to that of a Utility, we should not allow those working for us, to strike.
What a bummer, this dept. took an active part, instead of a supportive part in the strike. This service is needed daily.

Re: “SLO County strikers demand better pay, flood supervisors meeting

Until the County workers, and management gets paid, what the private sector gets paid... everyone will always want more money. Why not retire on your neighbors taxed wages?
Downgrade the county salaries to the public sector average salaries.
That would be financially be amazing.... how many roads we could fix, and less demand for public taxes.
More private sector folks could afford houses, instead of just the county employees.

Re: “Tensions boil over at July 26 SLO mayoral forum for Progressives Club's endorsement

It's time for a local that is concerned with our needs, commerce development, and purposeful long term planning. Too many short term projects, A.K.A. election year stunts. Let's stay a course with clear direction, let's find the next Mayor.
